Be equipped in the word
Grow in your love for God’s Word, your handling of Scripture and in your understanding of some of the doctrinal truths that are so vital to our convictions and our churches.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Tim 3:16-17
Be empowered in leadership
Gain fresh insights into the NT pattens of ministry, the hallmarks of fruitful leadership and teamwork, and many of the practical aspects of strengthening and caring for God’s people.
Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
1 Tim 4:15-16
Be envisioned in mission
Grow in your zeal for mission, your passion for pioneering, and your confidence in meeting the challenges of the day with the Good News of the Kingdom.
But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.
